InterModule or Wide Inlining

- Subject: InterModule or Wide Inlining
Hello - Does the GCC compiler support inter-module (also known as wide)
inlining, that is inlining between object (.o) files? I did not see a flag
for this nor did compiling the source files in one step seem to cause
inter-module inlining to occur.
Any help would be appreciated.
