Hi,
I have installed the MINGW32 port of the GCC compilers (ver2.95)
on my windows 95 machine. This was with a view to installing some
software which is in use on a number of unix variants. The software
doesn't do anything like graphics, so I thought it would be realtively
straightforward to compile. However, I didn't get very far before
I hit an error, with search.h not available.
Is there anywhere that I can get hold of this (and probably some
other) header files for a win32 system? I am not a c programmer,
so will basically give up if I can't get hold of the bits and pieces I
may need as I go through compiling these programs. I tried some
from a linux distribution, but I guess it is system/OS specific, as I
soon
came up against another problem in one of the files I copied across.
TIA,
Ron Crump
