I've now completed sparc-sun-solaris2.12 (and i386-pc-solaris2.12 for
good measure) bootstraps: the 64-bit sparc failures are gone and no
regressions on either sparc or x86.
It would be nice to backport the patch to the gcc-7 branch after some
soak time on mainline.
