Hello Andrew,
This is quite old and long forgotten.
I am now using El Capitan on a newer Mac and haven't needed to build GCC so I
think this can be closed.
Unfortunately, gcc-bugzilla won't let me log on so I can't respond to the bug
report directly.
If useful perhaps I could have a go at building the latest gcc on my current
Mac.
