The failure was reported on IRC as being on AIX ppc; unknown for other ppc
configurations.
I successfully build and ran the selftests for stage1 on
build=host=target=powerpc64-unknown-linux-gnu (on ggc110, which is
big-endian)
I'm trying a bootstrap on that machine.
I'll try on an AIX box.
