Mikael, could you compare against the versions of packages that I'm using?
gcc requires the following according to fedora)
cloog-ppl-0.15.11-4.fc18.1.sparc64
cpp-4.7.2-8.fc18.sparc64
libmpc-0.9-3.fc18.2.sparc64
mpfr-3.0.0-4.fc18.sparc64
gmp-5.0.5-3.fc18.sparc64
binutils-2.23.51.0.1-3.fc18.sparc64
gcc-4.7.2-8.fc18.sparc64
glibc-2.16-28.fc18.sparc64
elfutils-0.155-2.fc18.sparc64 * modified as per
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=672431&action=diff *
Hurm,.. your build of gcc-4.7.?, was that unmodified or with the slew of RHT
patches that the fc* packages normally gets added, applied?
Thanks
