The new compiler was built with gcc-4.5.0 20100115. Both were configured as
follows:
$ gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
COLLECT_GCC=gcc
COLLECT_LTO_WRAPPER=/opt/gcc-trunk/libexec/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/4.5.0/lto-wrapper.
