I think Joost is correct about the missing MPC library. I just
installed MPC-0.8 and rebuilt gcc. THe problem has disappeared.
Kaveh intends to make mpc a mandatory requirement before 4.5.0
is released. Do we simply put his into a waiting status? Note,
the problem does not appear on 4.4.x.
