I just tried to compile the Suse Linux package sparse sparse-0.4.1.git1-1.56
with the GNU C compiler version 4.4 snapshot 20090306
and the compiler said
sparse.c: In function 'check_context':
sparse.c:546: internal compiler error: in referenced_var_lookup, at
tree-dfa.c:563
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
