I found this bug report by googling for the same error message. In my case it
showed up on a suse9 machine. I corrected the problem by changing my PATH
environment variable. The broken PATH contained:
/nfs/platform/suse9/jdk1.5.0_06/jre/bin/
The corrected PATH contained
/nfs/platform/suse9/jdk1.5.0_06/bin/
Maybe this will help someone else down the road.
