Niall,
before we discuss further, I need a self-contained, compilable, piece of code
which GCC rejects and you would like to be accepted. I'm not familiar with the
move semantic C++0x proposals, and I'm not willing to read all of them just to
follow your discussion. Would you please provide this snippet?
If it's really a gray-area of the standard, your msvc arguments *might* have
some weight. Otherwise, I assure you there is no plan to modify GCC so that
it's less conformant, in any way.
