Thanks. I was able to reproduce this problem with the trunk cvs gcj.
I've checked in the fix. It will appear in gcj 3.1.
Unfortunately it is too late for 3.0.3.
If you try the trunk version and you still have problems,
tell me and I will reopen the PR.
