Martin,
Well after a lot of fooling around I found a sequence of commands that
makes the board work, so this seems to boil down to a hardware problem.
I don't know why it cropped up after an OS upgrade, but the inb_p macro
-was- also changed. Maybe it is some timing thing.
Thanks for looking for a solution to the problem, which seems to be a
non-problem.
