Hi Folks, I don't wish to complain about GCC, the FSF, GNU software or anything like that - I think a great job is being done on that front. However, since subscribing to the gcc-bugs list, I've noticed an alarming increase in the number of spam messages being recieved (which are, in fact, bounced through this list). I know it's difficult to prevent spam, but perhaps there could be a way to make content originating from non-list-members be moderated before being passed onto the list? I'm not entirely sure of the traffic coming from people who haven't subscribed to the list, so I don't know how feasible this is. These are just my thoughts (and response to being irritated by several adverts for "get rich quick" type schemes appearing here). Aside from that, I'm using GCC 2.95.2 on RedHat Linux 5.2, and it's working nicely - great job. Many thanks, Mo McKinlay. -- | Ekto - The Collective | "Resistance is futile" | | http://www.ekto.org/ | ekto@ekto.org | -------------------------------------------------------------------
