There are a numer of warnings, are these really errors?
ld at one time blew its top, how do I make sure it using gnu ld
(/usr/local/bin/ld) rather than the standard (/bin/ld). "which ld" shows the
correct one. Is it possible /usr/bin/gnucc is configured to use /bin/ld?
