Hi,
=>I sent this mail on 09/21/99. Now I added a ftp-URL where I put the
preprocessor file.
maybe I discovered a gcc (as) bug. I'm trying to port the ACE/TAO to the
Unixware 7 platform. I got the following signal problem during
compilation:
GCC-Version:
==========
gcc version 2.95.1 19990816 (release)
GNU assembler version 2.8.1 (i386-sco-sysv4), using BFD version 2.8.1
GNU ld version 2.8.1 (with BFD 2.8.1)
System Type
==========
config.guess: i686-UnixWare7.1.0-sysv5
(uname -a:UnixWare reno 5 7.1.0 i386 x86at SCO UNIX_SVR5)
All compiler options:
===============
g++ -D__STDC__=0 -g -fno-implicit-templates -fno-exceptions
-fcheck-new -I/home/corba/carlo/ACE_wrappers/ace/..
-DTAO_HAS_INTERFACE_REPOSITORY
-I/home/corba/carlo/ACE_wrappers/ace/../TAO -c -fpic -o
.shobj/IIOP_Connector.o IIOP_Connector.cpp
g++: Internal compiler error: program as got fatal signal 11
gmake: *** [.shobj/IIOP_Connector.o] Error 1
Preprocessed output
===============
The preprocessor output is bigger than 100 kbytes (270 kbytes with gzip
-9), so the following is the place where the preprocessor output file
can be taken from.
www.siemens.at
user/password: ftp/-
cd transfer
cd gnu
The file is called IIOP_Connector.ii.gz

Carlo
