Erroneous Message: ANSI C++ forbids declaration `TibErr' with no type
- To: gcc-bugs at gcc dot gnu dot org
- Subject: Erroneous Message: ANSI C++ forbids declaration `TibErr' with no type
- From: "Bryan W. Headley" <bheadley at tibcofinance dot com>
- Date: Tue, 10 Aug 1999 17:35:22 -0500
- Organization: TIBCO Finance Technology, Inc.
This seen in 2.95.0 and 2.95.1 (19990808 snapshot)
class TibErr {
public:
....
inline TibErr& operator=(const TibErr& err);
....
};
The compiler gets the idea that class TibErr, which I'm defining, is
being declared as an inline field. I did not see this behaviour in
egcs-1.1.2
