I can confirm that his patch to gcc/config/alpha/alpha.h fixes the
problem when applied against this week's egcs_latest_snapshot
(gcc-2.95 19990623).
As a bonus, someone fixed the long-standing exception handling
problems on alpha-dec-osf4.0 since the last time it could bootstrap.
