Good day!
Thank all of you for your really good work.
I'm not sure wether this addres is a right place to ask, but:
1. If I add a MULTILIB_OPTIONS = mregparm=3/mregparm=2/mregparm=1 fpack-struct
to gcc/config/t-linux file, egcs doesn't bootstrap, specifically, it breaks
on mregparm=3/libio. mregparm=2/mregparm=1 fpack-struct goes just fine.
2. I repeatedly get stuck with my tries to recompile my system with mregparm=2.
( bugreport was 1., 2. and below is a plea). I added a MULTILIB string, compiled
glibc-2.0.106 and linux kernel with mregparm=2 and rpaths, as well as init, placed everything
on a separate partition, rebooted - and kernel stopped before loading init. seems init dies.
system waits forever. Please, provide me with sources of needed information, if you can.
3. My system is i586-pc-linux-gnu, glibc-{2.0.7, 2.0.106}, kernel 2.1.132, egcs-1.1.1 (2.91.60).
If this information ( 1. & 3.) isn't full, I can provide more, of course; maybe some
gdbing...
Thank you once more,
August
