I configured egcs-1.0.3a with "--program-transform-name=s,gcc,egcs,".
The exe and man files were correctly named, but info files were
installed as gcc.info. It's a little annoying, considering that my
purpose was to not overwrite any gcc-2.8.1 file :-(
I've had look in gcc/Makefile. The rule install-man does not apply the
transform rule.
