This was fixed *after* the 0628 snapshot was made. Thus if you're
using the 0628 snapshot you should expect to find lots of garbage in
your /tmp directory. The snapshot README warned you about this.
Remove the stale files and get the latest snapshot to fix this problem.

Right. This is what I would expect if you continue to use the
0628 snapshot.
