[1.0.3a, ss-980502] repeatable C++ problems

At least the following bugs reports submitted by Debian users still apply to
egcs 1.0.3a and ss-980502 (I don't have a later snapshot available for
testing - sorry):

- http://www.debian.org/Bugs/db/21/21122.html (contains recipe code)
  Explicit template instantiation fails.

- http://www.debian.org/Bugs/db/21/21499.html (contains recipe code)
  g++ trouble when comparing enum's with STL included

- http://www.debian.org/Bugs/db/21/21754.html (contains recipe code)
  g++ optimizer causes internal compiler error (dependent on member name).

- http://www.debian.org/Bugs/db/22/22513.html (contains recipe code)
  -fno-implement-inlines causes undefined reference to constructor at link
  time. (The other problem in this report is specific to Debian's current
  compiler setup ("gcc" is from gcc 2.7.2.3, whereas "g++" is from egcs).

If you wish to respond to one of these bug reports, please
Cc: <bugnumber>@bugs.debian.org (e.g. Cc: 1234@bugs.debian.org) so your
response gets archived in the Debian bugtracking system.

Greetings,
Ray
