Yes. Yesterday's CVS snapshot compiled and ran you snippet without
problems on sparc-sun-solaris2.6.

Please try whether updating to the current CVS snapshot helps.
(Just to make sure: You are using egcs include files, not
gcc 2.something specific one, aren't you?)
