Tell your ld vendor that handling less that 1,000,000 characters in a
symbol name isn't useful. :-)/2 On the otherhand, Joe Buck has a
symbol shortener that is on the right path. Maybe someone wants to
dust it off, run it though the testsuite, and include it.
