Ok thanks, if this discussion is the reference on the subject, I will 
consider getting these 2 additional unexpected failures on solaris 
not-a-bug (or even a good thing), although I still find it arguable that 
the testsuite considers it a bug.

I will check my patch on solaris 9 (and then I may try 10), and I will 
probably come back to the list for help on the 4 time_put errors (which 
are beyond my level of debugging).
