libstdc++ problem

Subject: libstdc++ problem

Hello, Sir/ Madam:

I have difficulty using libstdc++. I use Fedora core 4 with gcc version 4. I don't konw in which directory my libstdc++ is install, so I can't set up the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable. The linker can't find the libstdc++ when I run the executable using c++ library. So, would you please give some help to locate libstdc++? Thank you very much.
