Cross libstdc++ broken GCC_NO_EXECUTABLES - status?

Subject: Cross libstdc++ broken GCC_NO_EXECUTABLES - status?

Is there any advice (quick n'dirty will do) how to get libstdc++ 3_4-branch
to configure and build in a cross-compiler build? I'm still getting the
infamous link/GCC_NO_EXECUTABLE problem.

Just tried it on i686-redhat-linux-gnu cross i386-pc-nto-qnx6.2.

Any fix for this in sight?
