Let's not. At least not yet.
I've been trying to convert v3 to use those versions, and some of the new
behavior is causing problems. Depending on how easy/hard/possible it is
to work around them, we might want to standardize on the previous versions.

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are,
by definition, not smart enough to debug it.
