A way to enter G++ core

Everybody,

I'm a C++ user trying to enter G++ using gdb working on a cygwin platform. I start running G++ in debug mode, then the program fork() to cc1plus executable with many parameters cc1plus seems to waiting for. When any of you debug G++, whats is the way you do it to see the core of G++ (which seems to live in another executable than G++ itself).

Thank you very much,

Jean

P.S. I feel very sorry for asking a so boring question, but I need a friendly reply to help me continue my work.
