performance/ifstream_getline.cc goes into endless loop?

Subject: performance/ifstream_getline.cc goes into endless loop?

I run make check-performance on bth i686-linux-gnu and x86_64 and it
seems to go into an endless loop, it's now running for nearly two
hours:

31974 aj        25   0   984  984   832 R    99.9  0.0 112:35 ifstream_getlin

Does it work for others?
