Well, Sun quoted the same paragraph as John Spicer when they said the
test case was ill-formed. gcc 3.0.4 diagnoses it, too, and gives the
same error as EDG, so there are already three implementers who agree
that it's not legal. Still, I don't see any harm in bringing it up on
c++std-core@research.att.com and/or making a clarification to the text
one way or the other.
