Re: V3 vs. AIX

	Appended is the current "mkcheck 0" summary for AIX (removing the
--rpath flag).  The test results are not horrible, but they are not as
good as other platforms.  I especially am concerned about the numerous
"27_io" runtime failures when linked with the shared library.

	This status is a regression from the functionality that Mark and I
had fixed in libstdc++-v3 a few months ago.  There have been some recent
improvements, but none addressing the I/O area.

	Basic I/O functionality seems like a reasonable definition for a
working libstdc++-v3 implementation in the GCC 3.0 Release.

	If there are things that I can look for and test to help debug
this, let me know.  Have implicit template instantiations been
re-introduced?
