Yes, libstdc++-v3.log gives a better idea of the whole picture.

I can bootstrap on a solaris-2.7 but the trivial program dies with a
"bus error" -- note that the same trivial program compiled wiith the
C-front-end works fine; so this is a problem with V3 I think.
