FWIW, the very first messages printed by the Solaris kernel when it boots[*]
contain the copyright years in the short form. I'd be willing to trust
Sun's lawyers to get those details right, but if the FSF has a different
policy I can do that. Makes no difference to me; you guys can make the call.
