Question about the coming merge into GCC--will multi-threading be turned on by
default? I hope so. ;^)
I've been using 2.90.8 w/gcc 2.95.2 on Linux x86 since last Friday, and things
seem a lot more solid than g++-2 and g++-3 (the existing ones in GCC). My
intuition tells me that the new threading support in string and iostream
helped me find an initialization bug with my threads in my program.
I haven't found any bugs or anything in 2.90.8 so far. I'll let the list know
if I do.
