be something with gcj. I have also tried Marco's builds and 4.1.1 works but
4.2.0 doesn't...

It really worked with 4.1.1? Cool! I thought it was broken ever since...

Does anyone know what causes this and what could be done to fix it?

I think Danny Smith is working on this because it involves dwarf exception handling. But I don't know what's the state. Maybe you can give us an update Danny?
