Let me try to rephrase my questions.
1. Is this analogy correct?:
gcj : ecjx as jc1 : ecj1?
If not, what is the correct analogy?
2. If my first analogy is correct, is the idea that gcj/jc1 will
supersede ecjx/ecj1 or will the two coexist?
