As far as I know nobody ever did an AIX port.
It shouldn't be overly difficult to get something up and working.
Making an excellent port is somewhat harder though.
There's a little info on the web site (some outdated) on porting
libgcj. There's also more info in the mailing list archives. And, we
can answer questions, etc :-)
