Hi,
Trying to compile gcc-4.0.2 under Cygwin I stumbled into this error, just after
gcj-dbtool is compiled it is used:
./gcj-dbtool -n classmap.db || touch classmap.db
error: could not create classmap.db: java.io.IOException: mmap not implemented
classmap.db was created as a 1.4M file filled with zeroes.
Searching the Web I found the same error happens with Sun java [Ref:
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do;:YfiG?bug_id=4724038] at least with
HP-UX but this probably is unrelated. In this case the problem is that mmaped
files cannot have more that one simultaneous access under HP-UX.
Any ideas about what's the problem?
Should I run gcj-dbtool under gdb to report more info?
