I think this code is pretty intrusive, so a branch makes sense while
we iron out the bugs.



Hopefully the branch won't be around for too long, its really just a place for us to share changes/hacks which arn't ready for mainline yet. I personally don't like the idea of having too many branches to deal with ;-)

useful starting point. It is easily googled.
