For the record, Michael is referring to a conversation with Tom
Tromey on IRC, not me. Since Michael and I haven't been able to
come up with a simple testcase, I don't feel comfortable not
fixing this in CVS, especially since it can easily be reproduced
locally, and have therefore submitted this patch:
