Re: compiling a SWT-gui with gcj on windows

Hi Jörg,

(I'm posting this to java because these were gcj-linked apps.
If the discussion gets hot and heavy, we'll move it to binutils
soon.)

Actually, there is something you might be able to try
without my releasing a new build. I'd really appreciate
your looking into this:

- Start with my unchanged gcc33-20030722 build. Do
a full build of your app. Verify that you get the
"Error: 0-bit reloc in dll" error.
- Now get binutils-2.14.90-20030612-1.tar.gz from
  http://www.mingw.org/download.shtml Untar this
  to thisiscool-gcc/gcc-3.3/i686-pc-mingw32.
Do a full build. Do you get the error? If not,
  does your app run okay?
- If so, retry with binutils-2.13.90-20021006-2.tar.gz and
  verify that the error disappears.

Øyvind: could you try this too?

How does SWT under Sun's JRE fare with this?
