Hi list,
I know I discussed this here some time ago but done had time to
investigate it more. Unfortunately I think I'm too dumb to step into
the verifier. When someone with the right knowledge (TOM ???) could
look into it, this would be wonderful.
The VerifierError is very easily reproducable.
Download ant 1.5.2 sources from http://ant.apache.org/.
Untar and cd into the sources.
Do "export JAVA_HOME=/your/prefix/of/your/gcj"
Edit "bootstrap.sh" to use "gcj -C" instead of "javac"
Run "./bootstrap.sh"
Voila!!!!!
GCJ 3.2.x doesnt bails out before the verifier thingie because of some
inner class bug.
I dont know about GCJ 3.3. If possible a fix should go into GCJ 3.3
too.
Michael
