Hi People,
On 20020207 @ 0904, I posted a message
Last week, I sent out a message reporting a problem with my attempt to compile a HelloWorld program and its crashing
with SWT/MingW. Erik was kind enough to reply to my original post, but when I sent out a more detailed description of
my install, I got no response. I know I'm a newcomer to this group and that my message might be less pressing than other
stuff you've got going on, but if I get a complete non-response, then I don't know whether:
- this was a legitimate post, but you've got more pressing matters to deal with
- this was a dumb newbie mistake that you don't even want to condescend to deal with
- I should have followed some other procedure or done certain things first before asking
this question
Although I'm a newcomer to gcj, gcc, the whole cross-compiler magic, etc., I'm definitely not new to either
Java programming or Win32 hacking, so I believe I might something to contribute if I know where I stand.
Thanks again for your time and patience.
