Has anybody seen JET?

If so, two questions (which their site does not answer):

1. Where did they get the source code for the Java standard library?

     - I doubt that Sun would license theirs (they're pretty strongly
       anti-static-compilation)

The TowerJ compiler (www.towerj.com), which is similar to GCJ, uses licensed Sun class libraries and has in fact been certified by Sun as being J2SE compliant - see http://www.towerj.com/press/110501.html
