You're not kidding.  I started talking to the J2ME JCP owners right
after I read the announcement.  The story is basically that they're
working to make changes, but it's not going to happen in the forseeable
future.  It kind of feels like they were trying to trick us into feeling
good about the situation...

In any case, thanks for all your help on the "inside"!
