Yeah! Upgrading binutils to version 2.12.90.0.15 seems to have fixed to problem (Debian GNU/LInux 3.0 - Woody comes with 2.12.90.0.1-4). I was already using this version on by x86 test machine. One of the changelog enties says: "Fix eh_frame."
Cool. Maybe we need a FAQ like: Q. It doesn't work! A. Upgrade to the latest binutils regards Bryce.
