   David Miller worked on this for sparc linux recently and it is supposed 
   to work, but it looks like it doesn't in your case. Perhaps you can work 
   with him to diagnose this further.

I basically throw out most of the sparc32 reports done on sun4m/sun4c
sparc32 systems because the Linux kernel is so damn buggy there.

The sparc32-linux host bootstraps+tests with flying colors with every
version of binutils I could get my hands on when I run do it on an
UltraSPARC box so I really doubt it's the fault of gcc in any way.
