DNS JNDI provider and java.nio

Hi,
We are currently working on a Java project, and we may be making use of
some of the features from JDK 1.4 when it is released. We are very
likely to use the DNS JNDI provider, and we may use java.nio as well.
We need the ability to generate a stand-alone executable. This means
that we will probably have to implement at least DNS for gcj, if no one
is doing it already.
So I would like to ask two things. Firstly is anyone working on either
of these components at the present time? Secondly if we do go ahead and
implement them ourselves, would you like us to contribute the results
back to gcj?
