Hello All,
I have been contemplating resurrecting an only project that I started
using JBuilder on a Windows machine. It has been about a year and a half
since that time, and I was hoping to check out gcj while I resurrect
this project.
Basically, I was hoping that someone could direct me to a page or site
that explains going about getting up and running with gcj. I am running
Mandrake 8.0, and it comes with gcj version 2.96 (isn't that the version
number of gcc?).
Also, I was wondering what I might do to upgrade my whole compiler suite
so that it is using the latest stable version. I have never tried to
replace a program as large as the compiler suites, and I would imagine
it is not for the faint of heart. (But nothing like jumping in with both
feet!!!).
Thanks for the help,
Mike
